The rooms and the garden
The hotel's wedding page lists weddings for 20 to 200 guests, with banquet halls, a garden and a social lobby. Its largest room, the Weaver Room, is 3,003 square feet with 12-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to a terrace and a view of the Bluebell Garden. The room divides in two, and the hotel's pages list different reception counts for it, 180 in one place and 200 in another, so confirm the number for your layout. The White Oak Room is smaller, 1,821 square feet, and opens onto the 22-foot-high Social Lobby through a movable glass wall with automatic drapes, which gives a ceremony or a cocktail hour a different look from the Weaver Room. Print Works Bistro, next door, creates seasonal wedding menus.
Sound and hosting in the Weaver Room
Twelve-foot ceilings and a lot of glass make the Weaver Room bright and a little live, so I aim speakers at the dance floor and keep the level in check near the windows. The hotel lists integrated sound and a built-in projector, and I would ask what I can plug into and what I should bring on my own. When the operable windows are open for an evening breeze, sound goes out to the terrace and garden, so I ask about neighbors and the amplified music cutoff, which the hotel does not publish.
The room divides, which helps: a smaller cocktail setup first, then the full room for dinner and dancing. As host I use that flow to keep the night moving.
Lighting, power and effects
The hotel lists custom uplighting in the Weaver Room. I would ask what is installed and what I can control. Floor-to-ceiling windows mean daylight early and black glass later, so I place lights to avoid reflections in the panes and keep warm white on the dance floor.
Low fog needs its own dedicated 30 A circuit and cannot share with lights or sound. The hotel publishes no sparkler or fog rule, so I get approval in writing for cold sparks and fog. Fog also needs a conversation about smoke detection.

Planning notes for couples
The hotel can host ceremony, reception and next-morning breakfast, and its wedding specialists are reachable at 336-478-9111. Group room blocks of 10 or more are available. Ask the hotel for its floor plans PDF and for written vendor, music and load-in rules, since the wedding page does not publish them.
