Lake Lure is about 30 miles from Asheville — roughly 45 to 55 minutes depending on the route. I'm based in Asheville, so travel to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock is included in all standard packages. There's no extra travel charge for venues in this corridor.
Yes — I've worked at multiple venues throughout the Hickory Nut Gorge area, including Rumbling Bald and other lakeside properties. Even for newer venues, I do a site visit before every wedding to learn the space, the acoustics, and the layout so there are no surprises on your big day.
